Tata Motors has introduced the Stealth Editions of its popular SUVs, the Harrier and Safari, in the Indian market. These special editions bring cosmetic enhancements that add a new dimension of boldness and exclusivity to the already popular models.
What’s New in the Stealth Editions?
The Stealth Editions of both the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari feature aesthetic upgrades that make them stand out. While there are no mechanical changes, the following enhancements set them apart:
Dark-Themed Exterior Design
- The SUVs receive a matte black paint job, giving them a more aggressive and commanding road presence.
- Blacked-out elements, including the grille, alloy wheels, and ORVMs, enhance the stealthy appeal.
- Red brake calipers add a sporty contrast to the overall design.
Enhanced Interior Styling
- The cabin gets premium all-black upholstery, adding to the luxury feel.
- Red ambient lighting and contrast stitching complement the dark theme.
- Special Stealth Edition badging adds exclusivity to the model.
Premium Features and Technology
- The Stealth Editions continue to offer ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) for safety.
- A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium JBL sound system further elevate the driving experience.
Engine and Performance
Tata Motors has not made any mechanical changes in the Stealth Editions. Both SUVs continue to be powered by the 2.0L Kryotec diesel engine, producing 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing and Competition
Model | Standard Edition Price | Stealth Edition Price |
Tata Harrier | ₹15 lakh - ₹24 lakh | ₹16 lakh - ₹25 lakh |
Tata Safari | ₹16 lakh - ₹25 lakh | ₹17 lakh - ₹26 lakh |
These new editions will compete with SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, and Hyundai Alcazar in the Indian market.
The Tata Harrier and Safari Stealth Editions cater to SUV enthusiasts looking for a bolder and more distinctive design without compromising on performance. With the increasing demand for unique, stylish SUVs, Tata Motors has once again positioned itself as a trendsetter in the Indian automotive market.
